LS Local Involvement

Living Sacrifice Local Involvement

There are many ways that you and your corps can be involved in the Living Sacrifice ministry. If you are interested in coming alongside this ministry, please find a list of options below. This list in not the only ways that you can connect with Living Sacrifice, it is just a starting off point to give some ideas if this is something that you are interested in. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for this ministry, please contact our Divisional Youth and Young Adults Program Coordinator, Sarah Ball at sarah.ball@salvationarmy.ca

Ministry Projects

Throughout the year, the Team will be taking part in different ministry projects. If you have a ministry that you would like to have some Young Adults provide support in, please contact us. We would love to connect you with some of the Young Adults on this team!

Connecting with Young Adults

If there are Young Adults at your corps that are involved in Living Sacrifice, we would encourage you to stay connected with them about it! Ask them about the ministry, small groups, or retreats. This will help to keep them accountable, but will also build better connections between you and the Young Adults in the church!

Encouraging Your Young Adults

This ministry offers and opportunity for Young Adults to grow in their relationship with God through retreats and small groups. Our hope is that this will provide an outlet for them to develop their leadership and discipleship skills throughout the year. This is also a reoccurring ministry, if there are any Young Adults at your corps that you think would benefit from this ministry, we encourage you to encourage them to explore if taking part in this ministry is part of what God has planned for them.

Volunteering To Be A Mentor

A part of this ministry is that each Young Adult will be setting up times to meet with a mentor. As such, they are able to choose who they wish to mentor them. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please let us know!
